The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has launched the largest fast-charging station for electric vehicles on the Delhi–Meerut Namo Bharat corridor, strategically located at Anand Vihar station. This new facility aims to enhance the commute experience by promoting clean and efficient mobility solutions.

Equipped with 10 high-voltage charging units, each boasting a capacity of 480 kW, the station allows simultaneous charging of up to 10 vehicles. It caters not only to small private electric vehicles but also provides services for heavy commercial EVs. The innovative facility can power vehicles up to 80% in approximately 30 minutes.

With easy access managed through the user-friendly 'ElectreeFi' mobile app, the charging station enhances convenience with features like slot booking, real-time monitoring, and digital payments. The NCRTC plans further expansion of EV infrastructure, enhancing sustainable urban transport and supporting a clean energy future.
