The Government of India has launched an ambitious industrial scheme, the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojna (BHAVYA), aimed at revolutionizing the manufacturing sector. Approved on Wednesday, the initiative involves a massive Rs 33,660 crore infusion to create 100 advanced industrial parks nationwide. This represents a significant leap in India's quest to boost industrial output and solidify its position on the global stage.

Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw emphasized the scheme's potential to generate approximately 15 lakh direct jobs. The industrial parks will feature state-of-the-art infrastructure, including internal roads, utilities, and value-added facilities such as factory sheds and testing labs. BHAVYA also promotes green energy and sustainability, integrating infrastructure that supports uninterrupted operations.

Implemented in collaboration with states and private sectors, the scheme further aims to streamline processes through deregulation and ease of doing business. It will facilitate quick industrial setup with pre-approved land and infrastructure, aligning with the PM GatiShakti principles for connectivity. BHAVYA is set to greatly enhance India's industrial framework, drawing substantial investments and strengthening domestic supply chains.
