India's Industrial Leap: The BHAVYA Initiative
The Indian government has launched the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojna (BHAVYA) valued at Rs 33,660 crore to establish 100 plug-and-play industrial parks, aiming to enhance infrastructure, manufacturing potential, and generate significant employment opportunities.

In a significant stride to boost industrialization, the Indian government approved the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojna (BHAVYA) valued at Rs 33,660 crore on Wednesday. This ambitious initiative aims to develop 100 plug-and-play industrial parks nationwide, providing world-class infrastructure to foster manufacturing growth.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced the scheme, highlighting its potential to invigorate India's growth narrative through enhanced manufacturing capability and the generation of approximately 15 lakh direct job opportunities. Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the Cabinet meeting that approved the scheme.
Under the BHAVYA scheme, industrial parks ranging from 100 to 1,000 acres will receive up to Rs 1 crore per acre in financial support, paving the way for expansive and efficient industrial development across the country.
