Air Travel Chaos: Middle East Conflict Grounds Key Hub Flights
Global air travel faces disruption as conflict in Iran prompts closure of major Middle Eastern hubs such as Dubai, causing widespread flight cancellations. Numerous airlines including Aegean, Air Canada, and Lufthansa are affected, canceling flights to Tel Aviv, Dubai, and other critical destinations, leaving passengers stranded.
Disruption to global air travel has intensified following hostilities in Iran, leading to the closure of vital Middle Eastern aviation hubs, including those in Dubai, Doha, and Abu Dhabi. Airlines are reporting widespread cancellations, leaving tens of thousands of passengers stranded across the globe.
Aegean Airlines, Greece's largest carrier, has cancelled flights to several destinations including Tel Aviv and Dubai, with rescheduling pushed into April and May. Other major airlines such as Air Canada, Air France KLM, and Delta have similarly suspended their services to affected areas until various dates.
