In response to ongoing disruptions caused by the West Asia conflict, Air India is stepping up to ensure travelers have more options. The airline announced on Tuesday its plan to operate 36 additional flights between March 19 and 28.
The additional services include routes from Delhi and Mumbai to major destinations such as London, Frankfurt, Zurich, and Toronto. These flights will collectively add 10,012 seats, offering a significant capacity boost amidst limited travel choices due to tensions in the region.
The geopolitical unrest involving the US, Israel, and Iran that commenced on February 28 has caused airlines to curtail services, severely affecting travel plans for many. Air India's move is a strategic response to the challenges posed by these disruptions.
