Chief Minister Pramod Sawant assured the public that discussions with the Union Petroleum Minister are underway to address this pressing issue. Sawant highlighted the concerns of more than 3,000 registered restaurants in the state, vital to Goa's tourism-driven economy, emphasizing the urgency to find a resolution.

In response to the disruption, the Goa Hotel and Restaurant Association has urged its members to adopt measures such as menu curtailing and transitioning to electric cooking devices.
