In a swift operation, Delhi Police have rescued an eight-month-old boy, arresting a couple implicated in his abduction from northeast Delhi's Khajuri Khas area, officials confirmed on Wednesday.

The incident unraveled on March 9th when a 45-year-old woman reported the kidnapping, alleging an unidentified woman, approximately 35 years old, deceived her by offering food before absconding with her son.

Acting on a prompt lead, authorities apprehended a 30-year-old woman from Roop Nagar, north Delhi, recuperating the child unharmed. During her interrogation, the woman admitted to the crime, resulting in the arrest of her husband, Pawan, charged with complicity in the kidnapping. The infant successfully reunited with his mother while the motive behind the kidnapping and the couple’s criminal history are under investigation.
