In a serious traffic incident in Beed district of Maharashtra, a head-on collision between two cars resulted in injuries to five individuals. One of the cars involved was reportedly heading towards Beed, carrying Madhukar Balasaheb Gaikwad, a security supervisor for a private wind energy company, along with his colleague Siddheshwar Devsan Adamane.

The collision occurred early Tuesday afternoon on the Manjarsumba-Ambajogai road near Kadamwadi in Kaij tehsil, officials stated. The second vehicle, with three passengers, was en route from Beed to Kaij. Among the passengers were Shivraj Ravindra Mane, Ravi Santaram Shinde, and Anil Atmaram More, all of whom sustained injuries.

Emergency services, spearheaded by Inspector Swapnil Unwane, swiftly transported the injured parties to the Sub-District Hospital in Kaij. Due to the severity of their injuries, Anil Atmaram More and Siddheshwar Devsan Adamane were later referred to the District Hospital in Beed for further medical care.
