Chennai Hosts India's Pioneering Elevator & Escalator Symposium 2026

In a landmark event held in Chennai, the Elevator & Escalator Symposium 2026 marked India's first exclusive conference dedicated to professionals in vertical transportation. The two-day event, organized by ISEEVENTUS Pvt Ltd, gathered leading experts who highlighted the critical need for uniform safety standards and stringent regulatory compliance across the country.

Chief Electrical Inspector to the Government of Tamil Nadu, Mr. V. Ramakrishnan, inaugurated the symposium and emphasized the importance of adhering to safety standards as per state Lift Acts. Other distinguished guests included industry stalwarts like Mr. R. Balakrishnan from L&T Construction and Mr. U Viswanathan of KONE Elevator India, who advocated for regular symposiums nationwide to promote best practices and align with India's long-term development goals.

The event also featured the grand finale of the National Industry Quiz 'Who Will Be MAHAGURU?', which celebrated the brightest minds in the industry with winners from Schindler India securing the top spot.
