Pilgrims' Journey Turns Tragic in Mathura
A bus carrying pilgrims from Saharanpur to Vrindavan crashed into a tree near Mathura, injuring over half a dozen people. The driver, Satish, lost control at high speed causing severe damage. Three women sustained serious injuries and were hospitalized, while others were treated and discharged.

A bus transporting pilgrims from Saharanpur to Vrindavan met with an accident near Mathura on Sunday. The incident occurred when the driver, identified as Satish, lost control of the vehicle while navigating a turn at high speed, resulting in the bus colliding with a tree, according to local police.
The crash took place near the Radha Kund Bypass on the route to Barsana via Chhataikara, severely damaging the vehicle's front and injuring several passengers. Prompt medical assistance was provided, with three seriously injured women being admitted to the Community Health Centre in Raal.
The injured women, named Gauri, Savita, and Menaka, hail from Tabarkpur village in Saharanpur district, while the remaining passengers received treatment at a government hospital and were discharged thereafter. The incident underscores the perils of high-speed travel on rural routes.
