In a recent interview with PTI, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the progress India has made towards becoming a developed nation, 'Viksit Bharat', by leveraging strategic budgeting and global trade deals.
Modi criticized previous administrations for lacking substantial trade agreements and applauded the political stability and predictability that have bolstered investor confidence. The government has implemented structural reforms and established 38 free trade agreements to integrate India into global supply chains.
Modi urged the private sector to invest aggressively in innovation and technology to drive sustainable growth. He emphasized the importance of productive spending, skill development, and military modernization to enhance India's position in the global economy.
