Mid-Air Drama: IndiGo Flight’s Safe Second Attempt

An IndiGo ATR aircraft faced a scare when its pilot couldn't initially land at Raipur's Swami Vivekananda Airport. The flight, arriving from Bhopal, made a second attempt and landed safely, as confirmed by local officials.

According to a senior police official, the aircraft approached the runway at 2.50 pm but was forced to perform a go-around due to unspecified reasons. The pilot skillfully maneuvered the airplane, remaining airborne for several minutes before executing a successful landing.

Airport authorities announced that the scheduled return flight to Bhopal was canceled following the incident. A passenger recounted that the aircraft had touched down momentarily, causing brief alarm before taking off again.
