Westlife Foodworld, the operator of McDonald's outlets in West and South India, announced a significant decline in its consolidated net profit, dropping 85.4% to Rs 1.02 crore for Q3 2025. This decrease follows an exceptional item loss related to new Labour Codes.

Despite the challenging scenario, the company's revenue from operations experienced a modest increase of 2.6% to Rs 670.71 crore, alongside an expansion in its restaurant network. The total income further improved by 3.27%, marking some positive strides amidst difficulties.

The firm aims to reach between 580 and 630 restaurants by 2027, focusing on expanding McCafe formats and Experience of the Future outlets. Chairperson Amit Jatia underscores the disciplined execution and strategic enhancements amid tough market conditions.
