Eureka Forbes Ltd, a prominent entity in the health and hygiene sector, has announced a significant 71.5% decrease in its consolidated profit after tax, amounting to Rs 9.98 crore for the third quarter ending December 31, 2025. This decline is attributed primarily to heightened expenses and adjustments required by newly implemented labor codes, all in the context of a challenging macroeconomic climate.

The company had previously recorded a profit of Rs 35.03 crore for the same period last year. The recent figures show an increase in consolidated revenue, standing at Rs 645.4 crore compared to Rs 597.74 crore the previous year. However, total expenses saw a rise to Rs 596.68 crore from Rs 554.87 crore, with a notable Rs 40.44 crore outgo associated with the new labor codes.

Despite setbacks in the water purifier segment, where a post-festive slowdown and elevated inventory posed challenges, Eureka Forbes demonstrated resilience. The company gained market share, supported by robust growth in its robotics and air purifier sectors, as highlighted by MD & CEO Pratik Pota.
