India Post Aims for Logistics Transformation with Emphasis on Parcels and Mails

In a bid to transform India Post into a robust logistics powerhouse, Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia set ambitious targets, including a 75% revenue contribution from parcels and mails within three years.
He unveiled plans for new delivery services and infrastructure improvements aimed at boosting efficiency and competitiveness in the logistics sector.
Scindia also emphasized the integration of private sector collaboration, aiming for an 80% private-sector contribution to revenues, and announced the development of Next-Generation Post Offices as part of an innovative transformation strategy.
