Indian Ambassador Vinay Mohan Kwatra recently met with US Senator Jacky Rosen to discuss pivotal topics such as boosting bilateral trade in hydrocarbons, exploring Artificial Intelligence collaboration, and enhancing counter-terrorism efforts. These discussions occur amid progressing trade negotiations between India and the United States.
Kwatra, in an online post, highlighted the engaging dialogue with Senator Rosen, a prominent member of the Senate Foreign Relations Near East, Central, South Asia and Counterterrorism Sub-committee. He described the shared perspectives on societal applications of AI as an important step towards collaboration.
The Indian envoy acknowledged Rosen's continued dedication to strengthening anti-terrorism efforts bilaterally. According to sources, a bilateral trade deal is on the horizon, while discussions have been grounded by challenging tariff issues following the Trump administration's policy shifts.
