Amazon's Export Milestone: $20 Billion and Counting

Amazon has announced a major milestone, having surpassed USD 20 billion in cumulative e-commerce exports from India as part of its Global Selling program from 2015 to 2025. The company is ambitiously targeting USD 80 billion by 2030.

Despite facing trade and tariff challenges in the US, India's largest export market, Amazon remains optimistic, focusing on aspects within its control. The company highlights India's structural strengths in exports, suggesting they are not merely cyclical.

Amazon's exporter base has expanded by 33% in just one year, reinforcing the country’s export ambition and emphasizing the growing significance of e-commerce in global trade. With a high compound annual growth rate in categories like health, beauty, and toys, Amazon continues to enhance its global selling capabilities.
