Winter Schedule Takes Off: New Routes and Increased Departures

In a significant move, airlines are set to operate 26,495 domestic flights weekly, connecting 126 airports during the winter schedule that kicks off on October 26, 2025, and runs through March 28, 2026.
According to the civil aviation ministry, this new schedule marks a 5.95% increase in weekly departures compared to the previous winter schedule, with notable additions including flight services to new airports like Amravati, Hissar, Purnia, and Rupsi.
The ministry has also announced the suspension of operations at Aligarh, Moradabad, Chitrakoot, Bhavnagar, Ludhiana, Pakyong, and Shravasti airports, reflecting strategic shifts for the upcoming season.
