Quick commerce apps played a pivotal role, experiencing a massive 120% YoY jump in orders, while brand websites marked a 33% increase. Marketplaces dominated with 38% of total purchases and an 8% growth in order volumes.
Data from over 150 million transactions during the 25-day festive period indicated robust demand in categories such as FMCG, home decor, and health products. Growth was particularly strong in tier II cities with a 28% increase, reflecting the growing digital influence in smaller towns.
