The onset of Samvat year 2082 signals a potentially prosperous period for Indian stock markets, as analysts predict substantial growth fueled by strong domestic fundamentals and easing inflation. With projections of double-digit gains, policymakers and investors alike are optimistic about a more stable market environment.

Banking expert Ajay Bagga noted that the previous Samvat year was riddled with challenges, including geopolitical instability and foreign investor outflows. Despite these hurdles, he anticipates a brighter outlook for the coming year, anchored by a revived corporate earnings landscape and strategic government initiatives.

Nilesh Shah from Kotak Mahindra Asset Management provided a cautious perspective, citing high valuations and external pressures as potential dampeners. However, the domestic investor base remains confident, bolstered by fiscal measures and macroeconomic resilience, setting the stage for an earnings-driven market recovery.
