Pakistanis Head to New Horizons: China's Space Mission Beckons

In a significant leap for international collaboration in space exploration, two Pakistani nationals have commenced astronaut training in China, aligning themselves with China's ambitious space endeavors. This historic move highlights the deepening collaboration between Pakistan and China in space technology.

The selected candidates, Muhammad Zeeshan Ali and Khurram Daud, were chosen from an extensive pool in the first selection phase for foreign astronauts to join China's manned space program. Official reports confirmed that upon successful completion of their training, one of them will make history as the first non-Chinese astronaut to set foot on the Tiangong space station.

This development follows a bilateral agreement signed last year between Pakistan's Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission and the China Manned Space Agency.
