HCL Technologies has appointed Kimsuka Narsimhan as an independent director, effective immediately, the firm announced on Monday. Narsimhan, renowned for her extensive expertise in the consumer goods sector, is a Chartered and Cost Accountant by profession.
Over her 35-year career, she has secured leadership positions in finance, risk management, business transformation, and strategy across top-tier global companies. She has operated in various regions including Europe, the Middle East, India, and Southeast Asia.
Notably, Narsimhan held CFO roles for Asia Pacific at Kimberly-Clark, India Region at PepsiCo, and was a significant figure at Unilever. Her board-level experience includes positions at Bharti Airtel, Meesho, Akzo Nobel, and Astra Zeneca, where she served on critical committees such as audit, ESG, and risk management.
