Technological Renaissance in UP: New Centre of Excellence Inaugurated

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the state's first Centre of Excellence at the Maharana Pratap Institute of Technology. Supported by the TCS Foundation, this initiative aims to position Uttar Pradesh as a technological hub with a focus on AI, data science, and more.
In attendance were Tata Sons Chairperson N Chandrasekaran and TCS CEO K Krithivasan. Adityanath emphasized the transformation of Uttar Pradesh into an infrastructure and manufacturing leader over the past nine years, highlighting improvements in roads, electricity, and security.
The centre is poised to serve the eastern UP region, northwestern Bihar, and Nepal's Terai region. It represents a step towards realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a self-reliant India, boosting the local economy with new opportunities in technology and education.
