USITC Launches Investigation into Roku and Hisense Patent Violations
The U.S. International Trade Commission has initiated a Section 337 investigation into alleged patent violations related to certain Roku and Hisense display devices, streaming players, and components. The petitioner, InnoTV Labs LLC, claims these products infringe on their patents and seeks exclusion and cease and desist orders.

The U.S. International Trade Commission announced on Wednesday the initiation of a Section 337 patent violation investigation involving Roku and Hisense brand display devices, streaming players, and components.
InnoTV Labs LLC, based in Las Vegas, has filed the complaint, alleging patent infringements by products and components imported by San Jose, California-based Roku Inc, Purple Tag Media Technology Shanghai Ltd, and Qingdao, China-based Hisense Visual Technology Co, among others.
In response, InnoTV Labs is requesting the USITC to issue a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders against these imports.
