Electric vehicle manufacturer BYD India has launched its SEALION 7 First Anniversary Edition, further expanding its premium electric SUV lineup. The SEALION 7, available in Premium and Performance variants, begins at a price of Rs 49.40 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 54.90 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.
The company made the announcement on Tuesday, opening bookings across its dealerships for a fee of Rs 70,000. Rajeev Chauhan, head of BYD India's Electric Passenger Vehicles Business, highlighted the model's fusion of advanced technology and distinctive design, aiming to elevate the electric vehicle market in India with this special edition.
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the First Anniversary Edition offers exclusive benefits to the first 1,100 customers, including an 8-year Low Voltage Battery warranty. This initiative underlines BYD's commitment to making premium electric mobility more accessible to Indian consumers.
