Elbit Systems, Israel's largest defense company, is experiencing a noticeable increase in demand amid the ongoing U.S.-Israeli conflict with Iran. The company previously benefited from significant revenues during the 2023-2025 Gaza war.
Speaking on Tuesday, Elbit's Chief Executive Bezhalel Machlis emphasized the company's efforts to prevent Israel from running out of essential military supplies. He also highlighted Elbit's commitment to fulfilling orders from various international customers, including countries in the Gulf region affected by conflicts with Iran. Machlis pointed to the success of Israeli actions in Iran creating interest abroad, targeting countries such as the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
The conflict saw U.S. and Israeli air strikes on Iran beginning February 28, with Iran retaliating against Israel and its Gulf neighbors. Elbit Systems provides the Israeli military with long-range guided munitions and electronic warfare equipment used in these operations. Elbit anticipates a rise in international demand for their tested systems, with an order backlog increasing to $28.1 billion by 2025, 72% of which are international orders, pointing towards continued growth in 2026 and beyond.
