India's Largest Lithium-Ion Battery Gigafactory Sparks Clean-Energy Revolution

In a significant development for India's clean-energy ambitions, Waaree Energies is set to launch the nation's largest integrated lithium-ion battery Gigafactory in Andhra Pradesh. The groundbreaking project marks a pivotal moment in the state's clean-energy journey.

Located in Rambilli, Anakapalli district, this greenfield facility will boast a 16 GWh capacity, encompassing the entire battery value chain. The venture, backed by a Rs 8,175 crore investment, is expected to create approximately 3,000 direct jobs, thus reinforcing Andhra Pradesh's status as a prime clean-technology manufacturing hub.
