Democratization of AI: The Fair Path Forward, Says Sam Altman

During his speech, Altman predicted the emergence of early forms of super intelligence in the near future and outlined his belief in three guiding principles. He stressed the importance of democratizing AI to ensure that humanity can thrive.

Altman also cautioned against the allure of exchanging individual freedoms for solutions like cancer cures, underscoring the need to maintain democratic values. He speculated that by the end of 2028, data centers might house more of the world's intellectual capacity than exists outside them.
