Millwall, the English soccer team on the cusp of a historic promotion to the Premier League, is embroiled in controversy after an anti-racism children's booklet depicted a Ku Klux Klan member with the team's logo.
The Westminster City Council, responsible for the booklet, has since issued an apology for the distasteful misuse of Millwall branding. The council acknowledged that the imagery was an 'insensitive' error in addressing football's historic racism issues and agreed to withdraw the material.
