In a thrilling debut for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), young fast bowler Praful Hinge demonstrated his prowess by clinching four critical wickets against Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Hinge, 24, claimed the scalps of key batsmen including opposition captain Riyan Parag, showcasing a match-winning performance with figures of 4/34 in four overs. SRH triumphed over Rajasthan by 57 runs.
In an interview on 'JioStar Press Room,' Hinge expressed his admiration for SRH's captain Pat Cummins, describing their meeting as a significant career moment. Hinge has long idolized Cummins, closely following his bowling style and routines. Cummins, in turn, offered support and guidance, which Hinge credits as instrumental to his confidence and debut success.
Hinge revealed that despite visualizing such an impactful performance, he was pleasantly surprised to achieve it in his first game. His future goals are firmly set on team victories, emphasizing thorough preparation and focusing on one match at a time. Though unable to replicate his debut success against Chennai Super Kings, Hinge remains optimistic about his contributions to SRH's campaign.
