The Indian U17 men's team is set to engage in two friendly football matches against Qatar later this month in Doha, as announced by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) on Monday. These games mark India's final preparatory events ahead of the AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026, featuring prominent teams in the line-up.

India's Blue Colts, fresh from a win against the UAE in Thailand, are currently preparing for a second match there before flying to Doha on April 22. These friendly matches will be held behind closed doors, adding to the intensity of their preparation.

Following their stay in Doha, the team will head to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on April 30. Competing in Group D of the AFC U17 Asian Cup, India will face off against teams like Australia on May 6, Uzbekistan on May 10, and DPR Korea on May 13. The final tournament squad will be disclosed as the event approaches.
