The inaugural day of competitions at the ISSF Junior World Cup kicks off in style at the Egypt International Olympic City, with two medals up for grabs in the 10m Air Rifle Women and 10m Air Pistol Men events. This thrilling event, hosted in Cairo, sees the participation of India's formidable contingent led by 71 talented athletes.

Starting with the 25m Pistol Precision contest for both genders, the competition showcases skill and precision. The keenly anticipated 10m Air Rifle Women qualification, featuring India's top talent Shambhavi Kshirsagar, begins at 12:45 IST. Meanwhile, the 10m Air Pistol Men's finale is set for 17:45 IST, marking a climactic conclusion to Day One.

Highlighting the international flair, athletes from 25 countries, including a significant Egyptian and Russian presence, compete for glory.
