Former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu has called for significant introspection within the Lucknow Super Giants camp, particularly targeting skipper Rishabh Pant amid their continuing struggles this IPL season. Sidhu suggests that while bowlers have not been dismissing Pant, the talented wicketkeeper-batsman is often his own undoing.

The Super Giants, depending heavily on their top-order batting, have seen lackluster performance with Pant highlighted as needing time to stabilize his game. Despite his potential, Pant's current season stats reflect a continuation of last year’s underwhelming achievements. He accumulated just 104 runs in five innings, averaging 26.00 with one notable score of 68*.

In stark contrast, Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) Virat Kohli showcased stellar form even with a knee concern, driving RCB to victory with aid from Rajat Patidar. Kohli clinched the Orange Cap with his standout scoring, while RCB’s disciplined bowling attack, led by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and outstanding efforts from Rasikh Salam and Josh Hazlewood, solidified their win.
