Courtois has become a co-owner in the E1 electric powerboat championship, a Saudi-backed series that is gaining traction in the sports world.

This move aligns Courtois with a host of notable figures such as tennis star Rafa Nadal, basketball legend LeBron James, NFL's Tom Brady, and actor Will Smith, all of whom have invested in the series. The championship spans four continents and includes racing locations like Lake Como in Italy, Monaco, Luanda in Angola, Miami, and the Bahamas.

Courtois expressed his enthusiasm, stating that Sierra Racing Club, with which he has partnered, embodies the type of sports asset that his investment platform, NXTPLAY Capital, seeks. He highlighted the team's strong identity and technical ambitions, reflecting the high potential to become a prominent name in the championship.
