According to sources, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is not only dealing with contract breaches but also last-minute fee demands from players amid regional conflicts. There has been discussion of imposing player bans, but the potential negative impact on attracting international talent is a concern.
Despite efforts, financial disparities between the PSL and IPL remain a major challenge. Last year's legal action against a contract-breaching player had limited effect. The PCB continues to explore options to strengthen contractual commitments with the International Cricket Council.
