On the fifth day of the World Boxing Futures Cup, India's youth boxing contingent delivered standout performances, highlighted by impressive victories from Gunjan, Radhamani Longjam, and Chandrika Pujari.
Gunjan, competing in the 48kg weight class, achieved a decisive 5-0 win against a competitor from Poland. Meanwhile, Radhamani Longjam showcased her dominance in the 57kg category with a Referee Stopped Contest victory in the first round against Ecuador.
Although Prachi faced a setback, losing 5-0 in the 60kg division to a Slovakian opponent, and Priyansh Sehrawat experienced a similar defeat in the 70kg category to Morocco, Chandrika Pujari revived India's spirits with a 5-0 win over a U.S. rival.
