Indian Youth Boxers Shine at Bangkok's World Boxing Futures Cup 2026

The Indian Youth boxing contingent delivered a remarkable performance on the second day of the World Boxing Futures Cup 2026 in Bangkok, with notable victories from Radhamani Longjam and Sahil Duhan.

In the women's 57kg division, Radhamani Longjam triumphed over her Uzbek opponent, clinching the win with a Referee Stopped Contest in the third round. Her commanding performance was a highlight of the day.

Over in the men's 60kg category, Sahil Duhan continued his formidable streak, securing a 5-0 unanimous decision against Turkmenistan. Meanwhile, Udham Singh bravely contested but narrowly lost 3-2 to Japan. The tournament, spanning March 8-15, attracts top youth boxers, offering them international exposure as they compete in Olympic weight classes.
