Taiwan's Lin Chun-yi staged a remarkable performance to win his inaugural All England Open title, overcoming India's Lakshya Sen in a gripping final. With scores of 21-15 and 22-20, Lin demonstrated exceptional poise to defeat Sen, who was seeking redemption after his prior year's runner-up finish to Viktor Axelsen.
The 26-year-old Taiwanese left-hander, who surprised the badminton world by defeating world champion Kunlavut Vitidsarn in the semi-finals, found his rhythm after a shaky start against Sen. Despite Sen's initial 9-4 lead in the second game, Lin managed a comeback, thanks to a sequence of powerful rallies that eventually tilted the match in his favor.
In the women's singles, China's Wang Zhiyi claimed her first All England title by defeating South Korea's top seed An Se-young. The women's doubles title went to China's Liu Shengshu and Tan Ning, while Taiwan's Ye Hong-wei and Nicole Gonzales Chan clinched the mixed doubles title against France's Delphine Delrue and Thom Gicquel.
