Sen, who has now reached the All England final twice, previously finished runner-up in 2022. Despite the loss, Sen was upbeat about his performance, stating that he found many positives throughout the week. The defeat leaves Prakash Padukone and Pullela Gopichand as the only Indians to have claimed the prestigious title.
Lin's victory made history as he became the first player from Chinese Taipei to win the All England singles title.
