This decision arrives amidst public scrutiny following the release of emails exchanged with Ghislaine Maxwell. These emails were discovered among government files related to Jeffrey Epstein.
Although Wasserman has not been accused of any wrongdoing, the associated controversy has sparked a wave of client departures from his agency. In a memo to staff, Wasserman expressed his intent to sell the agency, citing a desire to focus on delivering a successful Olympic Games for Los Angeles in 2028.
