French biathlon star Martin Fourcade and the 2014 German men's Olympic relay team are among those to be honored with new medals this Sunday at the Antholz-Anterselva Biathlon Arena. This reallocation comes as a result of the disqualification of Russian biathlete Evgeny Ustyugov for anti-doping violations.

Ustyugov’s competitive results from 2010 to 2014 were annulled, prompting a reevaluation of medal standings. Consequently, Fourcade will receive Ustyugov's mass start gold from Vancouver, while silver and bronze have been reassigned to Slovak biathlete Pavol Hurajt and Austria's Christoph Sumann, respectively.

The German relay team from Sochi will also benefit, being awarded gold medals. IBU President Olle Dahlin emphasized the significance of this ceremony, which will unfold amidst fierce competition at the Milan Cortina 2026 and be witnessed by nearly 20,000 fans worldwide.
