India’s rising boxing stars are delivering knockout performances at the 3rd Asian Youth Games 2025 in Bahrain, as six Indian boxers clinched spots in the finals. The Indian squad includes five female boxers and one male contender, demonstrating formidable prowess in the ring.

The excitement kicked off with Khushi Chand (46kg) defeating her Mongolian opponent with a decisive 5:0 victory. Following her lead, Chandrika Bhoreshi Pujari (54kg) triumphed over her adversary from Kazakhstan. Harnoor Kaur (66kg) and Anshika (+80kg) continued the winning streak, overcoming strong competitors from Chinese Taipei and China with clean sweeps.

Among the boys, Lanchenba Singh Moibungkhongbam (50kg) emerged victorious against the People's Republic of Korea. In contrast, Anant Deshmukh (66kg), after a valiant semifinal, secured a bronze. As the tournament nears its end, the Indian team aims to convert their success into gold, bolstered by rigorous training under top coaches.
