The defending Ranji Trophy champions, Vidarbha, have made strategic changes to their squad by introducing Lalit Yadav to replace the injured Aditya Thakare. Satyam Bhoyar also joins the 17-member team ahead of their upcoming encounter with Tamil Nadu.
Currently leading the Elite Group A, Vidarbha has one win and one draw. Their initial match saw a resounding victory over Nagaland by an innings and 179 runs, followed by a high-scoring draw against Jharkhand.
The eagerly anticipated clash with Tamil Nadu will commence on November 1 in Coimbatore, posing a critical challenge for Vidarbha as they strive to maintain their top position in the group standings.
