Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has officially unveiled the merchandise for the upcoming Kashmir Marathon 2025, and extended an open invitation for all fitness enthusiasts to participate. The event merchandise, including a specially designed cap, medal, and racing kit, was displayed during a function at the Royal Springs Golf Course in Srinagar.

Addressing attendees, Abdullah emphasized the unique appeal of Kashmir as a marathon destination, thanks to its scenic beauty and favorable weather. The marathon, scheduled for November 2, has seen encouraging registration numbers, particularly from foreign athletes participating in the full marathon category.

The marathon courses will take runners past iconic Srinagar landmarks such as the Jhelum riverfront and Dal Lake, with participants experiencing cool temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees Celsius. Abdullah expressed confidence in the event's potential to become a leading sporting attraction similar to the long-established Delhi Marathon.
