In an engaging encounter at the BIIK Sports Complex in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, India's U20 women's football team displayed great resilience, drawing 1-1 against Kazakhstan U19. The friendly match served as a preparation for the upcoming AFC U20 Women's Asian Cup 2026.
Action kicked into gear in the second half when Kazakhstan's Adeliya Bekkozhina opened the scoring in the 47th minute. However, India's Pooja, consistent as ever, leveled the score in the 55th minute, heading in a cross from substitute Bhumika Devi Khumukcham.
