 The Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez played host to the action-packed Mexico City Grand Prix, the 20th race of the 24-round championship, with a lap distance of 4.304km. Carlos Sainz emerged victorious, claiming the pole with a one-minute 15.946-second time, securing a win for Spain and Ferrari.
As the circuit holds the title for the highest on the calendar at 2,285m, the race witnessed cars speeding up to 320kph. McLaren's Oscar Piastri leads the Drivers' Championship, while Verstappen, known for his successful track record, remains a formidable contender.
In team standings, McLaren celebrated their 10th Constructors' Championship title, while Mercedes and Ferrari trail behind. Despite recent podium absences, Oscar Piastri has consistently demonstrated exceptional prowess, rivaling seasoned drivers, showcasing the competitive spirit of this exhilarating motorsport event.
