Scotland Ranks Up New Faces for November Rugby Internationals
Scotland’s rugby team for the November internationals features three uncapped players and the return of captain Sione Tuipulotu. Coach Gregor Townsend has selected a 45-man squad to compete against several top-tier teams. A significant number of Lions picks and returning players highlight the team’s competitive depth.
In preparation for the November rugby internationals, Scotland has introduced three uncapped athletes into their 45-man squad, with Sione Tuipulotu making a comeback as captain after missing the Six Nations earlier this year due to injury.
The squad selection made by Coach Gregor Townsend comprises 27 forwards and 18 backs, aiming to face off against rugby powerhouses including the United States, New Zealand, Argentina, and Tonga over consecutive weekends.
Notably, 11 players who joined the British & Irish Lions tour are part of the squad, alongside Edinburgh captain Magnus Bradbury, who seeks to earn his first Scotland cap since the 2022 tour to Argentina. Townsend emphasized the squad's competitiveness and depth in various positions.
