Magnitude 7.3 earthquake strikes off east coast of Honshu, Japan, EMSC says

​An ‌earthquake of ​magnitude ‌7.3 struck off east coast ‌of Honshu, ‌Japan, on Monday, ⁠the ​European Mediterranean ⁠Seismological Centre (EMSC) ⁠said.

The quake ​was at a ⁠depth ⁠of ​13 kilometers (8.1 miles), ⁠EMSC said.
