In a tragic accident in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district, three tourists died, and ten sustained serious injuries when their tempo traveller skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge. The incident occurred on Saturday night as the vehicle was returning from Jalori Pass.

The District Disaster Management Authority reported that slippery road conditions, caused by incessant rains, contributed to the vehicle losing control while descending toward Bhuntar on the treacherous 15 km stretch.

Rescue operations are being carried out by police, fire services, and local administration. The injured have been rushed to nearby hospitals, with one tourist in critical condition. The tourists were initially staying in a hotel at Jhibi, approximately 10 km from Banjar town, where the accident took place. Further details are awaited as investigations continue.
