Reports indicated over 20 drone impacts, with significant damage in various regions. Moscow also intercepted several Ukrainian drones heading toward the capital.
On Thursday, Russian forces unleashed a relentless series of drone strikes on Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city. The attacks, which lasted throughout the day, injured at least two people, including an eight-year-old girl, as confirmed by local officials.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov shared updates on Telegram, detailing strikes in four city districts. Over 20 drone impacts were reported, with fires ignited and extensive damage to residential areas. Public broadcaster Suspilne noted additional explosions early Friday morning.
Meanwhile, in Moscow, air defence units intercepted a Ukrainian drone targeting the capital, with two other drones being neutralized earlier. The ongoing conflict's impact extended to the Russian Belgorod Region, where drone attacks left 13 injured, accentuating the escalating tensions.
